Hybino Red Ear Sliders are amazing turtles. This morph has really taken off in the last couple years, and the demand over seas has exploded. Due to the demand of this morph, Hybino Red Ear Sliders have become a little harder to find. This is a single gene mutation, and has only been combined with Albino Red Ear Sliders to create the Lubino Red Ear Sliders. There’s a lot of new combinations to be made in the future, and a lot of them have already started to be created. We are excited to see what this morph does in the future.

Hybino Red Ear Sliders are a medium sized turtle, growing up to 12″ in length. They can reach breeding size in 3 years, producing up to 8 clutches of eggs per year. This is a very easy species to keep in captivity, but require a lot of space to be happy and healthy. Hybino Red Ear Sliders require the same care as the normal form does. Despite what many people think, turtle morphs have no problems living outside in the sunlight. Hybino Red Ear Sliders bask for many hours a day, and will pile on top of each other, making them a great display choice for outdoor ponds.
